MyTeam Triumph Canada is a registered Canadian charity that helps build inclusive communities through long distance running and endurance athletics. This great organization pairs individuals with physical-limitations ("Captains") with able-bodied athletes ("Angels"). In a race, Captains provide the inspiration, while Angels push their Captain in specialized running wheelchairs.
The charity also provides the expensive racing chairs that makes this possible. Since I know how much I enjoy participating, I wanted to help raise some extra money to allow My Team Triumph Canada to purchase additional chairs so that others can participate as well!
I am really happy that I get to be apart of this adventure. I enjoy getting to participate with people like me and love that we all have something in common. The experience of riding in the chairs is pure pleasure! My goal this season is to participate in FIVE races, and I'd love to raise $300 for each race!
Please support my efforts! The process is fast, easy, and secure. I truly appreciate any support you can provide. It will benefit a great cause!
If you can't make a donation at this point, help me reach my goal by sharing this page on Facebook and Twitter, or, even better, send an e-mail to friends you think might be interested in contributing and include a link to my page!
Thanks so much for your generosity!
Update: Justin's story has clearly captured the hearts of many people. As such, we have increased his donation goal in the hopes of sponsoring yet another chair, and allowing another Captain the joy of participating in accessible races!
